Fine Arts At PCA
At Providence Christian Academy, we believe education extends far beyond academics. The fine arts are a vital part of our mission because they help shape the whole student—mind, heart, and spirit. Through music, drama, and creative expression, students are given meaningful opportunities to discover God, develop their gifts, and grow into confident, thoughtful individuals.
Participation in the fine arts builds character in profound ways. Students learn discipline through practice, perseverance through challenges, and humility through collaboration. Theater
Our mission is to create an environment where students can discover God in meaningful ways, explore their creativity, build confidence, and develop their unique voices as performers. Through collaboration and empathy, we aim to perform meaningful stories that bring glory to God.
Lower School Music
Our mission in the lower grade music program is to nurture a joyful and engaging environment where students can encounter God through music, creativity, and play. We introduce foundational musical concepts through singing, movement, rhythm, and exploration, helping students develop a love for music at an early age. Through participation and expression, students build confidence, strengthen listening skills, and begin to recognize their unique ability to create and share beauty. We aim to cultivate curiosity, cooperation, and a sense of wonder, encouraging each child to use their gifts to glorify God.
Upper School Choir
Our mission in the upper grades choir is to guide students in using their voices as instruments of worship, expression, and connection. Through disciplined practice and collaborative performance, students refine their vocal technique, musical understanding, and artistic interpretation. Choir provides a space for students to grow in confidence, leadership, and unity as they work together toward a shared purpose. By engaging with meaningful and diverse repertoire, we strive to deepen students’ appreciation for music and inspire them to honor God through excellence, creativity, and heartfelt performance.
